NorthEast Solar (formerly Village Power Design) has been providing on and off-grid power to "villages" of all types for over 20 years. By "village" we mean:

Village scale living can be one of the most rewarding and sustainable ways for people to live on this beautiful planet. NorthEast Solar is especially fond of helping those that are demonstrating sustainability in many ways including renewable energy use. These experiments in living sustainably represent a model of how we might walk lightly on the Earth while also leading a abundant, socially rewarding and comfortable life.
